JOB INFORMATION
Punjab Police has given an employment notification for the recruitment of Police Constable (except for the vacancies against the sports quota, which shall be filled separately in the District Police Cadre & Armed Police Cadre of the Punjab Police) Vacancies. - For General: Rs. 1000/- (Application Fee + Examination Fee)
- For Ex-Servicemen(ESM) of Punjab State only/Lineal Descendants of ESM: Rs. 400/- (Application Fee)
- For SC/ST of all States and BC of Punjab State only & EWS Candidates: Rs. 550/- (Application Fee + Examination Fee)

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
- Should Possess 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised Education Board/ University In case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.
- For male candidates is 5 feet 7 inches
- For female candidates is 5 feet 2 inches.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of the following Tests:
• Stage I:
Computer Based Test consisting of two (2) Multiple Choice Question
Papers to be conducted on the same day.
• Stage II:
(i) Document Scrutiny
(ii) Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
(iii) Physical Screening Test (PST)
Note: Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature
SALARY DETAILS
- The post of Head Constable has been fixed at Rs 25,500/- (minimum pay admissible) at Level 4 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix
