JOB INFORMATION

       Online applications are invited from the eligible applicants for engagement as Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) (Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevak). Applications are to be submitted online.

IMPORTANT DATES

• Registration/Application Submission Start Date: - 27.01.2023.
• Application Submission Start Date: - 16.02.2023.
• Edit/Correction Window for Applicant: - 17.02.2023 to 19.02.2023.
• GDS Result Date: - February-March 2023.

AGE LIMIT

• Minimum age:18 years 
• Maximum age:40 years. 
• Age will be determined as on the last date of submission of application as per notification.

APPLICATION FEE

    Applicants pay a fee of Rs 100/- for all positions advertised in the selected division. All-female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PWD candidates, and Transwoman candidates are exempted from paying application fees. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

• Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS. 
• The applicant should have studied the local language i.e. (Name of Local language at least up to Secondary standard [as compulsory or elective subjects]. 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of computer 
• Knowledge of cycling 
• Adequate means of livelihood

SALARY DETAILS

    The TRCA Slab for GDS/ ABPM is Rs.10,000/- -24,470 and Rs.12,000/- -29,380 for BPM. The salary structure for Post Office Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM).
